Ayesha graduated from the prestigious National College of Arts, Lahore, Pakistan where she mastered the art of painting and explored her passion for singing even further by being a part of the collage band for 4 years and singing/performing with various other underground bands in Lahore. She also continued to experiment with theatre, mime and public speaking.
Her acting career took off when she starred in a light comedy sitcom, College Jeans, directed by another NCA graduate, Nini. Although acting was not a deliberate career choice, her ambition and talent propelled Ayesha forward. After graduating from collage, she started getting a lot of acting offers in various plays and she took it up professionally, resulting in her moving to Karachi. MTV was the next step in Ayesha’s ever growing ladder of success. Here she spent 5 years hosting a variety live shows and events. In the past two years, Ayesha realized that her busy acting and hosting Career did not leave her any time to pursue her first passion, singing. So she decided to divide her time between singing and acting and started work on her first album at one of the best music studios in the country, Silent Studios, run by Faisal Rafi. As she wanted to compose and write all the songs herself, it took some time to get everything ready but the songs Ayesha has made are a true form of self expression and self realization. Fire Records will soon be releasing her album.
